Introduction

PictServerPro picks up where our shareware PictServer product left off. In addition to serving PICT, TIFF, EPSF, and Movie Poster Frame images as JPEG's using suffix mapping, PictServerPro goes many steps further...

Convert PICT, TIFF, EPSF, and Movie Poster Frame images to GIF's or Interlaced GIF's.
Thumbnails can be created of PICT, TIFF, and Movie Poster Frames.
User customizable list of suffixes used for mapping of images.
Detailed status window including fastest, slowest, and average conversion times, list of last 100 image requests, and more.
Optional logging of all request and image conversion information to a log file.
Use HTML forms to tell PictServerPro which files to serve and up to 21 optional fields to tell it exactly how you want the images served!
User definable field names for all 22 form fields used in html form parsing.
Scale your images from 10% to 500% by using defaults for each image type, or specify the scale per image when using HTML forms.
PictServerPro can use MacOS(tm) file type information instead of just suffix mapping to determine how to convert the image.
Remote administration of settings and preferences through any forms capable web server.
Overlay text onto the images either as defaults for each image type or specific for each image when using html forms.
Control font, size, face, location, copy method, etc. of text being overlaid on images.
Convert images from anywhere on any volume mounted on the server when using html forms.
